The following people can join your team:
Adult Player – a person who has an "Adult Player" account type in the application.
Parent's/Guardian's Ward – a child added by a parent/guardian as a dependent in the application.
⚠️ Important: A player MUST have an account in the FC.APP application (either as an independent user or as a parent's/guardian's ward). You cannot add a player who does not exist in the app's database.
🔄 Three Ways to Add a Player to the Roster
There are three ways to complete your team's roster:
Method 1: Invitation via Database Search
The coach actively searches for a player in the database and sends an invitation.
The player/parent receives a notification and can accept or decline the invitation.
📌 Detailed description in Chapter 2.
Method 2: Sharing a Team Link (Invite Parents/Players)
The coach shares a direct link to the team with parents/players (via SMS, WhatsApp, e-mail, etc.).
The parent/player clicks the link and can apply to join the team.
The coach then accepts or declines the application.
📌 Detailed description in Chapter 2A.
Method 3: Accepting a Player/Parent Application
The player or parent finds your team independently in the app and sends an application.
You receive a notification and can accept or decline the request.
📌 Detailed description in Chapter 3.
Method 2: How to share a team link (Invite Parents/Players)
This is the fastest way to invite many parents/players at once. Instead of searching for each player individually in the database, you can simply send them a direct link to your team.
🎯 When to use this method?
✅ When you want to invite many players simultaneously.
✅ When you have parents' contact details (phone, email, WhatsApp).
✅ When you want to save time – no need to search for each player one by one.
Step 1: Go to your team details
Open the FC.APP app.
Click the "Teams" (Drużyny) tab in the bottom navigation bar.
Go to the "My" (Moje) section.
Select the team you want to invite players to (click on the team name).
Step 2: Click the "Invite Parents/Players" button
In the team details, you will find two purple buttons at the top of the screen (just below the team name):
"Invite Parents/Players" (Zaproś Rodziców/Zawodników) – the left button with the share icon 🔗.
"Share" (Udostępnij) – the right button with the share icon 🔗.
Click the "Invite Parents/Players" button (on the left).
Step 3: Copy the team link
Once you click the button:
A special invitation message will be automatically copied to your phone's clipboard.
The message includes:
Information about your team.
A direct link to the team in the FC.APP application.
An invitation to join.
💡 Message content: "I invite you to download the FC.APP application and join {TEAM_NAME}"
Step 4: Send the link to parents/players
Now you can paste the copied message or choose your preferred messaging app to send the pre-written invitation:
📱 SMS – Select your messaging app and send it directly to the parent/player.
💬 WhatsApp – Select the app and send the message in a group chat or individual conversation.
📧 E-mail – Select your mail app and paste the link into the body of the email.
📲 Messenger/Viber/Telegram – Choose any communicator to share the link.
👥 Parent Groups – Send the link to everyone at once for maximum efficiency.
Step 5: What happens on the parent/player side?
After clicking the link:
Redirect to FC.APP:
If they have the app installed → The app opens directly to your Team Profile.
If they DO NOT have the app → They are redirected to the app store (Google Play / App Store).
Applying to the team:
The parent/player clicks the "Apply ward" (Zgłoś podopiecznego) button.
An official application is sent to you.
Step 6: Accepting parent/player applications
After parents/players click the link and submit their applications:
Push Notifications: You will receive a notification for each request:
"{Name} wants to join the team {Team_Name}"
Reviewing Applications:
Go to the "Teams" tab → "My" → Select your team.
A notification about the pending application will appear in the team details.
Next to each player, you will see two buttons: Accept (Akceptuj) and Decline (Odrzuć).
Finalization:
Once accepted, the player appears in the "Roster" (Skład) section.
The parent/player receives a notification that they have been accepted.
📌 Detailed information on the acceptance process can be found in Chapter 3.
💡 Benefits of sharing the link (Invite Parents/Players):
✅ Speed – one link for multiple people at once.
✅ Convenience – no need to search for each player individually in the database.
✅ Flexibility – send the link via any method (SMS, WhatsApp, email).
✅ Reach – easily reach all parents in your team group.
✅ Simplicity – parents click the link and apply themselves.

Method 1: How to invite a player from the database – Step by step
Use this method when you know the player's first and last name and want to find them in the application's database to send a direct invitation.
⚠️ Important: This method is only possible if the player/ward already has an active account! Otherwise, the player will not appear in the search results.
Step 1: Go to your team
Open the FC.APP app.
Click the "Teams" (Drużyny) tab in the bottom navigation bar.
Go to the "My" (Moje) section.
Select the team you want to add a player to (click on the team name).

In the team details:
Scroll down the screen to the "Roster" (Skład) section.
Here, you will see a list of players currently on the team (if you haven't added anyone yet, this list will be empty).

Click the "+ Add player" button.
Step 3: Search for the player in the database

📍 Location (city/region)
🏷️ Account type (Adult Player / Ward)
Check the data and select the right person:
Click on the name of the player you want to invite.
💡 Tip:

If there are multiple people with the same name, the location will help you make the right choice.
Step 5: Send the invitation
On the player's profile screen, find and click the button: "Invite to team"
✅ Done! The invitation has been sent.
⚠️ Note: If you don't see the "Invite to team" button, it might mean:
The player is already on your roster.
You have already sent an invitation to this player (it is currently pending).
Step 6: Waiting for the player's response
Once the invitation is sent:
📱 The player (or their parent/guardian) receives a push notification: "[CoachName] invites you to the team [TeamName]. Accept and join or decline the invitation."
Upon clicking the notification, the player/parent can:
✅ Accept the invitation
❌ Decline the invitation
What happens on your end?

You will see the status "Awaiting response" next to the player's name.

The player will appear in your roster without any waiting status:
Teams Tab → My → [Your Team] → "Roster" section.
The player is now a fully active member of your team list.
Step 8: After the invitation is declined
❌ When the player/parent declines the invitation:
Notification: You will receive a message about the rejection: "[PlayerName] has declined the invitation to [TeamName]."
Roster Removal: The player will be removed from your team's roster view.
What can you do?
You can resend the invitation in the future.
You can contact the player/parent outside the app to clarify the situation.

Go to your Team Details.
Click the Edit icon (pencil) in the top right corner.
Find the name of the invited player and look for the (X) icon next to it.
Click the X to cancel the invitation.
⚠️ Note: The player/parent will not receive a notification about the cancellation — the invitation will simply disappear from their view.
Method 3: Accepting a Player's Application to the Team
Players and parents can independently search for teams within the app and apply to join them. In this scenario, you make the final decision on whether to admit the player to your roster.
Step 1: Receiving an Application Notification
When a player or parent applies to your team, you will receive a push notification:
"Player [Player_Name] wants to join your team [Team_Name]."
Step 2: Accessing Team Details
There are two ways to review the application:
Option A – Direct Access via Notification:
Click directly on the push notification.
You will be redirected straight to the Team Details where pending applications are listed.
Option B – Manual Navigation:
Open the "Teams" (Drużyny) tab.
Go to the "My" (Moje) section.
Select the team that received the application.
Step 3: Reviewing the Application List
In the team details, you will see a list of players who have applied. For each request, you will have the option to either accept or decline the application.
Step 4: Making a Decision
Next to each player on the application list, you will find two action buttons:
✅ Green Button (Accept): Click this if you want to admit the player to your roster.
❌ Red Button (Decline): Click this if you do not wish to add the player to your team.
Step 5: After the Application is Accepted
✅ The player is added to the team roster:
They will now appear in the "Roster" (Skład) section alongside other members.

You can now manage the player:
Call them up for matches, tournaments, and leagues.
Enter ratings and statistics.
Award motivational badges.
Step 6: After the Application is Declined
❌ The application is removed from the list:
The player DOES NOT appear on the team roster.
📱 The player/parent receives a notification:
"Coach {Coach_Name} has declined your application to join {Team_Name}."
The player can:
Re-apply to your team in the future.
