If you want to transfer full control of the team to another coach, you can change the Head Coach (Owner).
π― When to change the Head Coach?
β End of tenure β you are finishing work with the team and moving to another one.
β Delegation β you are handing over primary duties to an assistant or another coach.
β Structural changes β there is a reorganization within the club or academy.
β Leaving the club β you want the team to remain active in the app after you leave.
β οΈ Consequences of Changing the Head Coach
After transferring the team:
β You lose full control over the team.
β You can no longer edit basic team data (name, crest).
β You cannot delete the team.
β You cannot add or remove other coaches.
β οΈ The action is irreversible β the new owner now decides the future of the team.
π How to change the Head Coach? β Step-by-Step
Method 1: Resignation of the Head Coach
Step 1: Go to Team Edit
Go to the "Teams" tab β "My".
Select your team.
Go to the "Coach" section.
Step 2: Resign from leading the team
Click the X next to your first and last name.
Confirm that the team will be transferred to the second coach currently in the team.
Step 3: Confirmation of Transfer
The system will ask you to confirm your action:
"Are you sure you want to resign from leading this team? The team will be transferred to coach [Coach_Name]."
Options:
No, go back β cancels the action.
Yes, I resign β confirms the transfer.
Step 4: After the Transfer
π± The new owner receives a notification: "Coach {Coach_Name} has resigned from leading the team. You have become the Head Coach of {Team_Name}."
π Change of permissions:
The new owner now has full control.
You are removed from the team.
