Change account type

Learn how to change your account type or have more than one.

In FC.APP, you can have multiple account types at the same time. You can add and remove types as needed.


➕ How to add a new account type?

Step 1: Open account type management

  • Side menu in the mobile app 📲 (☰) → "Change user type"

Step 2: Select the account type to add

You will see a list of account types with checkboxes (✓):

  • ☐ Coach/Organizer

  • ☐ Parent/Guardian

  • ☐ Adult Player

Types you already have will be marked with a check (✓).

  1. Select the checkbox next to the type you want to add.

  2. You can select several types at once.

Step 3: Save changes

  1. Click the button: "SAVE CHANGES".

Done! The new account type has been added.


➖ How to remove an account type?

⚠️ NOTE: Removing an account type has certain restrictions.

Removing the Coach/Organizer type:

YOU CANNOT remove this type if you have assigned teams.

Error message:

"Changing the account type from Coach/Organizer is impossible as long as you have assigned teams. Delete them to continue."

What to do?

  1. First, delete all your teams (see: Coach Management Manual).

    OR transfer the teams to other coaches.

  2. Only then can you remove the Coach/Organizer type.

Removing the Parent/Guardian type:

YOU CANNOT remove this type if you have an assigned dependent.

Error message:

"Changing the account type from Parent/Guardian is impossible as long as you have assigned dependents. Delete them to continue."

What to do?

  1. First, delete all dependents.

  2. Only then can you remove the Parent/Guardian type.

Removing the Adult Player type:

You can remove this at any time (no restrictions).

Process:

  1. Side menu → "Change user type".

  2. Uncheck the checkbox next to "Adult Player".

  3. Click "SAVE CHANGES".
