📋 Introduction
In the FC.APP application, there are three ways to add a dependent (child) to a team – each of them is quick and simple. Choose the method that is most convenient for you.
🎯 Three Ways to Add a Dependent to a Team
Method | When to use | Who takes action |
1. During Registration | When logging into the app for the first time | You (Parent) |
2. Coach's Invitation | The coach knows your child and sends an invite | Coach → You accept |

Assigning to a Team
During the registration process, on the "Add Dependent" screen, you will have the option to assign your child to a team.
A button labeled "Apply to a team" (Zgłoś się do drużyny – purple button) will appear on the screen.
Click the button.
A team selection window will open.
Searching for and Selecting a Team
On the screen, you will see:
🔍 Search field (magnifying glass icon in the top right corner).
🎛️ "FILTERS" (FILTRY) button (on the left side).
📋 List of teams to choose from.
Type the team name in the search bar:
Enter your team's name in the search field.
Pay attention to the age group (birth year) – ensure you select the correct team; otherwise, the coach will not receive the notification.
Check the Coach's name and surname displayed next to the team name on the list.
If you have trouble finding the team, use filters:
Click the "FILTERS" button.
You can filter by:
Birth year – select your child's birth year.
Location – select the city.
Apply the filters.
The list of teams will be narrowed down.
Click on the selected team and confirm your choice.

Send the Application
After selecting the team from the list, you will be redirected back to the Add Dependent form.
The selected team will now be visible in the "Team Application" section.
Complete Adding the Dependent
Scroll down to the "Legal Guardian/Parental Consent" section.
Check the box: "I consent to the processing of data by FC.APP S.A..."
Click the "Add player" button (at the bottom of the screen).
✅ The application has been sent!
Wait for the Coach's Approval
The coach will receive a notification about the application.
The coach will review the dependent's details.
The coach will either accept or decline the request.
You will receive a notification once the decision is made.
If the coach accepts:
✅ Your dependent joins the team!
The team will appear in the "Teams > My" section and on the dependent’s profile.
If the coach declines:
You will receive a notification about the rejection.
You can contact the coach or try applying to a different team.
📧 Method 2: Invitation from a Coach
If you didn't join a team during registration, or if your child is joining an additional team, you can receive a direct invitation from a coach.
Receive the Invitation
The coach searches for your child by first and last name within the app.
The coach sends the invitation to you.
Check Your Notifications
Once the coach sends the invite, you will be notified in two places:
Push Notification:
A message will appear directly on your phone's lock screen.
In-App Notification:
Open the FC.APP.
Click the bell icon 🔔 in the top right corner.
You will see the invitation notification.
Open the Invitation
You have two ways to access the invite:
Option A: Via Push Notification (Fastest)
Tap the push notification on your phone screen.
You will be automatically redirected to the Team Details.
You will see the team information and the acceptance button.
Option B: Via the Notification Bell in the App
Open Notifications
Open the FC.APP.
Click the bell icon 🔔 in the top right corner.
You will see a list of all your notifications.
Find the Invitation
Scroll through your notification list.
Look for the message: "Invitation to team: [Team Name]..."
Click on the notification.
Redirection to Team Details
After clicking, you will be taken to the Team Details view.
You will see full information about the team and the invitation.
Accept or Decline the Invitation
On the Team Details screen, you will see two buttons:
"DECLINE" (ODRZUĆ) or "ACCEPT" (ZAAKCEPTUJ)
Make your decision and click one of the buttons.
(Alternative): Open the Invitation via the "Teams" Tab
If you didn't click the notification, you can go directly to the team details:
Open the Teams Tab
In the bottom navigation bar, click the "Teams" (Drużyny) tab.
You will see a list of all teams.
Search for the Team
Find the search field 🔍 at the top of the screen.
Type the name of the team you were invited to.
The team will appear in the results list.
Open Team Details
Click on the team from the list.
Accept the Invitation
On the details screen, you will see the invitation acceptance button.
Click "Accept" (Akceptuj).
✅ Your dependent has joined the team!
📨 Method 3: Manually Applying to a Team
Use this method if you know the team's name and want to apply yourself for the coach to review.
Find the Team in the App
In the bottom navigation bar.
Click the "Teams" tab.
Search for the Team
Find the search field 🔍 at the top of the screen.
Type the team name provided by the coach.
Pay attention to the birth year – ensure you select the team with the correct age group.
Select the Team
Scroll through the list and find the correct team.
Click on the team to view its details.
Apply Your Dependent to the Team
On the team details screen, find the purple button: "Apply Dependent" (Zgłoś podopiecznego).
Click the Button
Click "APPLY DEPENDENT".
A list of your dependents will be displayed.
Select the protege
You will see a list of all your dependents:
Example: ✓ Jan Kowalski (2012), ✓ Anna Kowalska (2014)
If you have one dependent – they will be selected automatically.
If you have multiple dependents – click on the one you wish to apply to the team.
The selected dependent will be marked (e.g., with a checkmark ✓).
Send the Application
After selecting the dependent, click the button:"Apply Dependent" (Zgłoś podopiecznego)
Wait for Coach Approval
Once the application is sent:
The coach receives a notification:
The coach sees your request in the app.
The coach reviews the dependent's details.
The coach has two options: Accept or Decline.
You receive a notification of the decision:
If the coach accepts:
📱 Push notification: "Coach {trainer_name} has accepted your application to the team {team_name}."
In-app notification (bell icon 🔔).
✅ Your dependent has joined the team!
The team will appear in the "Current Teams" section of the dependent's profile.
If the coach declines:
📱 Notification: "Coach {trainer_name} has declined your application to the team {team_name}."
You can contact the coach to clarify the reason.
You can try again or apply to a different team.
