💯 Overall Points – how does it work?
What is Overall?
Overall is the sum of all points you have earned for:
Participation in matches (friendlies, tournaments).
Goals scored in friendlies and tournaments.
Your team's results in friendlies and tournaments.
Motivational badges received from the coach.
💡 The more Overall points you have, the higher your position in the ranking!
💰 How to earn Overall points?
a) Participation in matches with a confirmed squad:
Friendly matches (Friendlies):
Appearance in a friendly = +1 point
You must be in the confirmed squad for the match.
Every single match played counts as another point.
Tournaments:
Appearance in a tournament = +1 point
You must be in the confirmed squad.
One tournament = one point (the number of individual matches played within that tournament does not increase this specific point).
Important:
Points are only awarded for squads confirmed by the coach.
If you are not in the official squad list = no points.
You do not receive points for matches without a confirmed roster.
Example:
Season:
10 friendly matches (confirmed squad) = 10 pts
3 tournaments (confirmed squad) = 3 pts
Total participation points: 13 Overall points
b) Goals scored:
Each goal = +1 point
Conditions:
The goal must be recorded in the system.
The coach or referee must assign the goal to you specifically.
Goals scored during training sessions do not count.
Friendly matches:
Goal in a friendly = +1 pt
Tournaments:
Goal in a tournament = +1 pt
Example:
Match: Your team wins 5:2 and you score 2 goals.
Points earned:
+1 pt (match appearance)
+2 pts (2 goals)
Total: 3 Overall points
c) Team results in friendly matches
Win = +3 pts
Draw = +2 pts

You can see them displayed on your PRO Player Card.
Points are automatically added to your Overall score.
Example:

Formula:
Overall = Appearances + Team Results + Goals + Coach Badges

Find yourself: Your current position is automatically highlighted.

To see how you compare to others, you can use several filtering options:
Search Bar: Type in a name (e.g., "John Smith") to find a specific player.
Scope:
Global: All players registered in the app worldwide.
National: Only players from your country (based on your app language).
Year of Birth (Age Category): Select a specific year (e.g., 2013).
This is the most important filter—it allows you to compare yourself fairly with peers of the same age!

Real-time updates: You don't have to wait! Your Overall score updates immediately after:
The coach confirms the squad for a match (Appearance points).
A goal is recorded in the system.
A friendly match or tournament ends (Result points).
The coach awards you a badge.
The global Player Ranking list refreshes continuously to reflect these changes.

Do my team's results in friendlies and tournaments affect my Overall?
Yes. If you are a confirmed player in the squad, your team's results (wins, draws, losses) directly impact your Overall score.
Do points reset every season?
No, Overall points do not reset. You accumulate them throughout your entire playing career in FC.APP.
What happens if the coach doesn’t confirm the squad roster?
Unfortunately, without a confirmed roster, you will not receive the point for the appearance. We recommend politely asking your coach to confirm the roster before the match starts.
Do goals scored during training count?
No, only goals from official matches (friendlies and tournaments) recorded in the system provide points.
How can I check how many points I have?
Simply open your PRO Player Card in the app.
Can I see the ranking if I don't have PRO?
Yes, the ranking is public and viewable by everyone, but you will not be listed in it yourself until you upgrade to PRO.
How many badges can I receive?
There is no limit. Your coach can award badges after every match or tournament if they believe your progress and commitment deserve recognition.
