📋 Introduction
As a referee, you are responsible for entering match scores and managing the overall flow of the tournament or league.
The process of reporting results consists of 4 stages:
Tournament/League Start (One-time notification)
Match Start
Entering the Score
Finishing the Match
🏁 Stage 1: Tournament/League Start (First Match Only)
When you begin the very first match of the entire event, the system will ask you to confirm that the tournament/league is officially starting. This changes the event status to "In Progress."
Step 1.1: Open the Schedule
Enter the tournament/league where you are officiating.
Go to the "Schedule - Phase One" tab (once the first phase is complete, a "Phase Two" tab will appear).
Click the "+" icon next to both teams to initialize the score to 0:0.
Step 1.2: Confirm Event Start
After clicking the first "+", a special prompt will appear.
Message: "Do you confirm the start of the tournament/league?"
Click "Yes".
✅ The event status will change to "In Progress."
Note: This step is performed only once per event. If there are multiple referees, only the one starting the very first match needs to do this.
⚽ Stage 2: Match Start
Every match that begins should be set to a 0:0 score. This signals to the system, fans, and coaches that the game is currently live.
What happens next:
The specific match status changes to "In Progress."
The match is highlighted with a blue border (visible to fans following the live updates).
You can now begin adding goals as they happen.
🎯 Stage 3: Entering Scores
There are two ways to record scores: Manual Entry (quick, without player stats) or Single Goal Entry (detailed tracking of scorers, penalties, own goals, etc.). The choice depends on the level of detail required for the event.
Option 1: Manual Score Entry
When to use this:
When you need to set the final score quickly.
When you do not need to assign goals to specific players.
How to do it:
Open Manual Entry:
Go to the Schedule.
Find the match and select the "Set score manually" (Ustaw wynik ręcznie) option.
Enter the Score:
Enter the number of goals for Team 1 (Home).
Enter the number of goals for Team 2 (Away).
Example: 3 : 2
Save the Result:
Click "Save".
If the result is final, click "Finish Match" (Zakończ mecz) – this is necessary for the standings and tables to update automatically.
✅ Score saved!
⚠️ Limitations: When setting the score manually, you cannot:
Assign goals to specific players (jersey numbers).
Mark own goals or penalties.
Track individual player statistics.
Option 2: Single Goal Entry (The "+" Method)
When to use this:
When you want to assign goals to specific players.
When you need to mark goal types (Own Goal, Penalty).
When you are providing Live Scores during the match.
How to do it:
Add a Goal:
In the match view, click the "+" button next to the team that scored.
The score will automatically increase by 1 (e.g., from 0:0 to 1:0).
Select Goal Details:
After clicking "+", a special screen will appear with detailed options to choose from.
Detailed Goal Options
1. Select a Player from the Dropdown List
Step A: Open the List
Click the "No player in the team" field to open the dropdown menu.
This displays all players called up (added to the squad) by the coach.
Step B: Choose the Scorer
Scroll through the list
Find the player who scored
Click their name.
💡 Tip: The list only contains players assigned to the specific match squad. If a player is missing, it means the coach did not include them in the roster for this game.
2. Enter Jersey Number Manually
Click the "Jersey Number" field.
Type in the number (e.g., 10).
Note: This option is used when you do not select a specific player from the pre-defined list.
3. Penalty Goal
Click the "PENALTY GOAL" button.
The button will change color/state to active.
✅ The goal will be recorded as a penalty in the match statistics.
4. Own Goal
Click the "OWN GOAL" button.
The button will change color/state to active.
What this means:
The goal was scored by a player into their own net.
The point is awarded to the attacking team.
In the statistics, the goal will be specifically marked as an Own Goal (OG).
5. Goal Without Player Selection
When to use this:
When you are unsure who scored.
When the player is not in the official squad list.
When you want to provide live scores but are not tracking the "Top Scorer" competition.
How to do it:
Click the "GOAL WITHOUT PLAYER SELECTION" button.
✅ The goal will be added to the score without being assigned to an individual.
What happens:
The match score increases by 1.
The goal is not assigned to any specific player.
This goal will not appear in the tournament’s top scorer rankings.
📋 Goal Options Summary
Option | Description | When to Use |
Select player from list | Choose the scorer from the official squad. | Scorer is known and is listed in the roster. |
Manual jersey number | Type in the player's number manually. | Scorer is not on the list, but you know their number. |
Penalty goal | Mark the goal as a penalty kick. | Goal scored from the "11-meter spot." |
Own goal | Mark the goal as an own goal. | A player scored into their own team's net. |
Goal without selection | No specific scorer is assigned. | Scorer is unknown or you want a quick live update. |
🏆 Walkover – Automatic Scoring
A Walkover is used when a match cannot take place (e.g., a team fails to show up or has too few players). Instead of entering goals one by one, you can immediately award a 3:0 victory to the winning team. The system will automatically assign the points without requiring individual scorer details.
How to award a Walkover:
Step W.1: Open the Walkover option
Go to the Schedule and select the specific match.
Find and click the "Walkover" option.
Step W.2: Select the losing team
The system will ask: "Which team lost the match?"
Select the team that did not show up or is forfeiting the match.
Step W.3: Confirm the Walkover
Click "Confirm."
✅ The score is automatically set to 3:0.
What happens next:
Set to 3:0 in favor of the winning team.
No individual scorers are assigned (goals are recorded as "without player").
The match is automatically set to "Finished."
The tournament table/standings are recalculated immediately.
🏁 Stage 4: Finishing the Match
After entering all goals, you must officially finish the match. This is the most important step because it triggers the system to update the tournament standings and player rankings. Without this, the score remains "waiting"—it will be visible to fans, but it won't count toward the table.
How to finish the match:
Go to the Schedule and find the "Finish Match" button.
Confirm the Result:
A confirmation prompt will appear.
Review the final score and the list of scorers for accuracy.
Click "Confirm."
✅ Match Finished!
What happens after finishing:
The match status changes to "Finished."
The Tournament Table is automatically recalculated.
Goalscorers are added to the Top Scorer Leaderboard.
The blue "Live" border is removed from the match.
⚠️ Very Important: If you do not click "Finish Match," the standings will NOT update! Always remember to finalize every game.
✏️ Editing a Match
Errors happen—you might assign a goal to the wrong player or forget to mark a penalty. You can edit any match during play or even after it has finished. The system allows for full corrections, and the standings will automatically update once changes are saved.
Editing during a match:
Tap the active match.
Add/remove goals or edit scorers in real-time.
Editing after a match is finished:
Tap the finished match.
Find the "Edit result" option or the pencil icon.
Adjust the score or scorers.
You must Finish the match again to save the new data and update the tables.
