How to invite a team manually? – Step by step
Step 1: Send invitations and check the status ✉️
After sending the first invitation (via the team search engine), your friendly match status will change from Open to Pending. You can send invitations to any number of teams – this increases the chance of scheduling a match quickly.
Step 2: Monitor the Invitations section 📋
You can find all invited teams in the Invitations section within the friendly match details. You can remove an invitation for a specific team at any time by clicking the red button (X).
Step 3: Automatic reminders 🔔
You don't need to worry about contacting the coach manually. The invited coach will receive a push notification about your proposal. If they don't make a decision, the system will automatically send them a reminder every 3 days until an opponent is confirmed.
Step 4: The first confirmation wins ✅
In the invitation process, the "first come, first served" rule applies. The first team to click the ✅ button is automatically assigned as your opponent. At this point:
The friendly status changes to Confirmed.
You will receive a push notification about the accepted invitation.
The remaining invitations are canceled, and the search for an opponent is completed.
⚠️ Important Information:
Cancellation by the opponent
Even after confirmation, the coach of the invited team has the option to withdraw using the CANCEL FRIENDLY button. If this happens, the event status will return to "Pending," and your invitation list will become active again.
Cancellation by the Organizer
If you remove a confirmed team from the list (using the X button) or cancel the entire event, the coaches will receive a corresponding push notification about the change.
List Privacy
Other users and invited coaches cannot see your full invitation list – they only see information related to their own team.
