How to add a team manually? – Step by step
Step 1: Open friendly details 📄
Go to the Events tab and select the correct friendly match.
Step 2: Select the manual addition option ➕
In the Teams section, click on the field: Invite team manually.
Click the Select temporary team button.
Enter the name of the team you want to add in the search bar.
Step 3: Add the rival (2 ways) ✍️
You can add a temporary team in two ways:
Method 1: Select from the temporary teams database
If the team was previously added to the system by you or another coach, type its name in the search bar. Once you find the correct team, click on its name and then select the "Add team to friendly" button.
Method 2: Create a new temporary team
If the search bar does not find the appropriate team, click the "Add temporary team" button.
Enter the team's name and optionally upload its crest.
Confirm by clicking "ADD TEMPORARY TEAM". This will add the team to your friendly and to the general temporary teams database for future use.
Step 4: The temporary team is assigned to the friendly ✅
Once the temporary team is added, the system automatically assigns roles as follows:
Your Team (Organizer) remains assigned as the Home team.
The Temporary Team is assigned as the Away team.
The friendly status will automatically change to Confirmed ✅.
🔄 Important information about role swapping for Away Games!
When adding a temporary team for a match designated as an Away Game, the system automatically assigns roles as follows:
The Temporary Team is assigned as the Home team.
Your Team (Organizer) is assigned as the Away team.
The friendly status will automatically change to Confirmed ✅.
🚌 Away game with an external team
If you have arranged an away game (outside the system), the process works similarly – as the organizer, you fill in the location and time data according to the arrangements made with the temporary team's coach.
What now? Your friendly is ready and confirmed. After the match ends, remember to go into the event and Add the result to complete the match process.
