Top Scorers Classification

Updated this week

In FC.APP, the top scorers' ranking updates automatically every time a goal is recorded during a match. The system offers two ways to assign goals to players.

🎯 Two Ways to Assign Goals

1. By Player Number

How it works:

  • The referee or organizer records a goal by entering the player's number (e.g., 7, 10, 11).

  • The goal is saved under that specific number.

  • The system automatically links the goal to that player number, and it becomes instantly visible in the top scorers' ranking.

2. Selecting a Player from the Roster

How it works:

  • The referee or organizer selects the player directly from the team roster list.

  • The goal is immediately assigned to the player's full profile (first name and last name).

  • It appears in the classification with the player’s full details.

Coaches can assign players to goals

Additionally, for up to 24 hours after the tournament ends, a coach can link a specific player from their roster to a goal originally recorded only by a number.

Step 1: Click on the goal with a number

  1. In a finished match, find the scorer list where only numbers are shown (e.g., "#10").

  2. Click the "CHOOSE SCORERS" button directly under the match in the schedule.

  3. The system will display the option "Assign player from roster".

  4. Click "Assign player".

Step 2: Select a player from the list

  1. The system will open your team's roster, showing players who have a confirmed call-up for this tournament.

  2. Select the specific player (first and last name) who actually scored the goal.

Step 3: Confirm changes

  1. After selecting the player, click the "SAVE" or "CONFIRM" button.

  2. The goal will be assigned to the player's profile, and their name will appear in the match details and the top scorers' classification.

💡 Why is this useful?

  • For Coaches: It ensures your players get credit in the official tournament statistics even if the referee only noted their number during the heat of the game.

  • For Players: The goals are added to their individual career statistics in the app.
