π Who is a protege?
A protege is your child's profile in the FC.APP application. As a parent/guardian, you can add one or more children and manage their profiles, team applications, and track their sports progress.
π― When do you add a protege?
You can add a protege at two moments:
Immediately after registration β the application will automatically ask you to add your first protege.
At any time later β via the side menu in the application.
π± How to add the first protege after registration?
Step 1: Complete the registration process
After finishing registration and choosing the Parent/Guardian account type, you will go through:
Onboarding screens (you can skip them by clicking "Skip")
Subscription selection (FREE or PRO)
Step 2: "Add Protege" Screen
After selecting a subscription, a screen with the option to add your first protege will automatically appear. You have two options:
Option A: Add protege now (recommended)
Fill out the protege form
Click "Add player"
Option B: Skip
Click "X" in the top right corner of the screen
You will be redirected to the main application screen
Step 3: Fill out the protege form
Required data:
First and last name
Enter the child's full name
Mandatory field
Year of birth
Enter your child's birth year (e.g., "2013", "2014")
Mandatory field
City
Enter the child's city of residence (e.g., "Warsaw", "Krakow")
Mandatory field
Team application
Click the Apply to a team button.
In the search field, find the team your child plays for.
Check the checkbox next to the selected team's name.
Confirm your choice by clicking the Select team button.
Optional data:
Protege's photo (avatar)
Click the camera or photo icon
Choose a photo from the gallery or take a new one
Optional field - you can skip this
Step 4: Save the protege
After filling out the form, click the "Add player" button.
β The protege has been added and the team application has been sent!
You will be redirected to the protege's profile.
π How to add a protege later?
If you skipped adding a protege during registration or want to add another child:
Step 1: Open menu
Click the menu icon (hamburger β°) in the top left corner of the application
Select "Proteges" from the side menu
Step 2: Add a new protege
If you don't have any proteges yet:
You will see the message: "You don't have any proteges yet. Add the first one!"
If you already have proteges:
You will see a list of your proteges
In both cases:
Click the plus (+) icon in the top right corner or the "Add protege" button
The protege addition form will appear
Step 3: Fill out the form
Fill out the form exactly as described in the section "Step 3: Fill out the protege form" above:
First and last name (mandatory)
Year of birth (mandatory)
City (mandatory)
Team application (mandatory)
Photo (optional)
Step 4: Save
Click the "Add player" button
β A new protege has been added to the list!
π What will you see in the protege's profile?
After adding a protege, you will see their profile containing:
Basic information:
Avatar β protege's photo (if added)
First and last name
City
Year of birth
Current teams
"Guardian" Section:
Your details as a parent/guardian
Guardian's first and last name
"Current teams" Section:
List of teams to which the protege belongs
π¨βπ©βπ§βπ¦ Managing multiple proteges
As a parent/guardian, you can add more than one child to the application.
How to add another protege?
Side menu β "Proteges"
Click the plus (+) icon in the top right corner
Fill out the new protege form
Click "Add player"
List of proteges:
In the "Proteges" tab, you will see a list of all your children:
Each protege is displayed as a separate card
Visible: avatar, first and last name, city.
Clicking on a card opens the protege's profile
