Changing teams is the process in which your child moves from one team to another (e.g., changing clubs, moving up to a higher age category, or a transfer). In the FC.APP, changing teams requires joining the new team first, and then leaving the old team (if you wish). You can also belong to more than one team at the same time.

Method 1: Change with leaving the old team
The dependent moves from one team to another – they stop training with the old team.
Method 2: Adding a new team without leaving the old one
The dependent trains in two teams simultaneously (e.g., club + academy).
📱 Changing teams – step-by-step
Step 1: Join the new team
First, you must add your dependent to the new team:
Method A: Invitation from the coach
Ask the coach of the new team to send an invitation.
You will receive a notification (push or via the bell icon 🔔).
Click on the notification.
Click "Accept" .
✅ Your dependent has joined the new team!
Method B: Manual application
Go to the "Teams" tab → Search for the new team.
Click "APPLY DEPENDENT".
Select the dependent.
Wait for the coach's approval.
✅ Your dependent has joined the new team!

Step 2: Leave the old team
💡 Important: A dependent can belong to multiple teams simultaneously. Leaving the old team is optional.
If you wish to leave the old team:
For PRO accounts:
Menu ☰ → "Dependents" → Select the dependent
Go to the "Teams" section
Click the purple "Manage" button
Select "Leave team"
Choose the old team from the list
Confirm
✅ Old team left!
For FREE accounts:
Menu ☰ → "Dependents" → Select the dependent
Click the red "Leave team" text next to the team you want to remove the dependent from
Confirm the action

Step 3: Set the leading team (player card)
If the dependent is in several teams, you can choose which team should be the leading (primary) one. The leading team will be displayed first on the player card.
How to set the leading team:
Menu ☰ → "Dependents" (Podopieczni) → Select the dependent
Go to the "Teams" section
Click the purple "Manage" (Zarządzaj) button
Select "Change team on card" (Zmień drużynę na karcie)
Select the team from the list
Click "Save" (Zapisz)
✅ Leading team set!
What this means:
The leading team will be displayed first on the player card.
The leading team will be highlighted in the dependent's profile.
This setting does not affect membership in other teams – the dependent still belongs to all of them.
⚠️ Important for PRO accounts
⚠️ If the dependent is in only ONE team (PRO account):
You cannot leave your only team directly.
You must join a second team first.
Only then can you leave the original team.
The change process for PRO accounts:
✅ Join the new team (you are now in two teams).
✅ Leave the old team (you will remain in one).
✅ (Optional) Set the new team as the leading one.
