Creating a league in the FC.APP is a process that allows for full schedule automation, application management, and community engagement. Follow the steps below to correctly configure your competition.
Step 1: Select Event Type
In the panel for creating a new event, select the League option. This is a mandatory step to access the configuration settings dedicated specifically to this format.
Step 2: Explore the Possibilities
Before proceeding to technical data, an information screen will appear. It explains that as a league organizer, you will be able to:
🌐 Inform the Community – Your league will become visible to other coaches in the app.
✉️ Invite Teams – Quickly send invitations to teams directly from our database.
📑 Manage Applications – You have full control over who is ultimately accepted into the league.
🔗 Share Results – The schedule and standings will be instantly accessible to players and parents.
Step 3: General Data and Competition Format
In this section, you establish the foundation of your league. Fill in the following fields:
League Name – Your unique name (e.g., "FCapp Autumn League").
Age Group – Select the appropriate age category from the list.
Game Format – Specify the number of players (e.g., 5+1 or 6+1).
Number of Teams – Enter the planned number of participants.
Scoring Type – Choose one of the available options:
With results (Standard)
With hidden results and standings
With hidden results
Without results
Number of Rounds – Choose 1 or 2 rounds (Single matches or Home & Away).
What is a Round?
A round is a phase of the competition where every team plays against every other opponent once. If you select 2 rounds, the system will automatically schedule a rematch for every pair.
Step 4: Match Settings
In this step, you configure the timeframes for individual matches:
Number of Matches – The system will automatically calculate the total number of games based on the number of teams and rounds selected.
Duration – Enter the length of a single match in minutes.
Breaks – Specify the duration of the break during a match (e.g., halftime) and the interval between consecutive matches in a round.
Step 5: Scheduling and League Simulation
This is the core of your league configuration. You need to define the timeframe for the entire competition:
Period – Select the start and end dates for the league.
Match Days – Mark the days of the week when matches will be played.
Hours – For each selected day, specify the time slot (e.g., Saturday 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM).
Key Feature: SIMULATE LEAGUE SCHEDULE 🔄
Before proceeding, click this button. The system will generate a preview of all match days (rounds). You can verify:
The specific dates and times for each match.
Whether the total duration of the league is sufficient to complete all scheduled games.
Step 6: Select Your Own Team (Optional)
If you are both the organizer and a coach of one of the participating teams, you can select your team now. If you are creating the league as an independent organizer, you can skip this step.
Step 7: Marketing, Regulations, and Logo
The final stage is about the visual and formal presentation of your league. All of these fields are optional:
📝 Description & Link – Add promotional information and a link to an external website (if you have one).
📎 Regulations – Upload a PDF file (max. 1.5 MB) so that participants are aware of the rules.
💰 Entry Fee – State the cost of participating in the league.
🖼️ Poster – Upload your league's logo or a promotional poster (JPG/PNG, max. 20 MB).
You're all set! Once you click the Create League button, your event will be officially published.
