🔴 Status: IN PROGRESS
When does a tournament receive this status?
The "In Progress" status is assigned automatically when:
✅ You start the first match in the schedule.
✅ You click the "+" buttons (two pluses) next to the teams or the "Start" button.
✅ A 0:0 score appears in the first match.
What does this status mean?
✅ The tournament is live – matches are currently being played.
✅ Results are entered live.
✅ Tables are updated automatically after each finished match.
✅ Top scorer rankings are updated in real-time.
🔒 Teams can no longer be removed.
🔒 Basic tournament settings cannot be edited.
🔒 Once the first match of a phase is finished, teams can no longer be swapped or moved between the groups of that phase.
Changing group composition during the tournament (Group + Group):
The lock applies only to the phase in which a match has been finished. While Phase I is in progress, you can still change the Phase II groups (slots) in the "Table" tab. After moving to Phase II, you can swap and move teams in the Phase II groups until the first Phase II match is finished.

Moving to Phase II (two-phase tournaments)
Once all Phase I matches are finished, a bar with the PROCEED TO PHASE 2 button appears at the bottom of the "Schedule of the first phase" tab. In a Group + Group tournament, after you proceed, the system places the teams into the Phase II slots based on the final group tables. The number of matches, the pairings, the order and the pitches of Phase II stay the same.

What do participants see?
All users:
See the tournament with the "IN PROGRESS" status.
See the match schedule with live results.
See the current table (updated after every match).
See the top scorer rankings (TOP 10).
Matches currently played:
Started matches are highlighted with a purple border.
This is visible to all users EXCEPT for the organizer/referee (organizers do not see the purple lines).
The purple highlight disappears once the match is finished and the result is saved.
Moving to the next status
The status changes to "Finished" when:
✅ Results have been entered for all matches.
